Goldfield Burrs - Eucalyptus spp
A group of burrs obtained from different trees. Including-
Flooded Gum burr, Salmon Gum burr, Gimlet Gum burr, Ribbed Fruited Maly. These burrs are cut of the side of the tree and can be used to make natural edged bowls and hollow forms etc. Not recommended for the novice! We strongly recommend getting professional advice, regarding size and weight of the piece to be turned
in relation to your lathe capacity. Presenting tools to revolving natural edges can be dangerous, again seek professional advice.
